Resources Review reported that Western Australia authorised a large downstream processing facility at Port Hedland backed by South Korean steelmaker Posco.
The proposed facility includes a pellet plant and hot briquetted iron plant, with expected output of about 2 million tonnes per annum of HBI and 0.7 million tonnes per annum of pellets.
